Straight out of the box, a brand-new Virgin Cross Country "Voyager", no. 220002, approaches at 16.30 on a test run from the north - I presume Washwood Heath as that is where they were built. But I could be wrong. What I do know, this was a taste of things to come and soon every cross country passenger will get to know far more about crowded trains and uncomfortable seating on long-distance journeys. Awful trains.
