(2) The second shot of this train as it goes away towards Winchester at 10.53. After the crew change EWS Class 66 no. 66052 is working an empty Southampton to Washwood Heath train made up entirely of these very distinctive WIA car carriers. Sixty of these covered double-deck wagons were built, introduced to handle the export traffic of Mini and Jaguar cars, initially through the Channel Tunnel. I think I have heard the phrase "tube train" used to described this train, for what seems to be obvious reasons!
