Another EWS Class 58 - there were a few working in the area at the time. It's 10.44 and no. 58025, wearing the grey "Mainline" livery, pulls out of the yard on a late-running 6B03 (10.13) Eastleigh Yard to Western Docks, an empty ballast train. Like a number of other Class 58s this one was also withdrawn in 2002 and exported to Spain in 2004. At the time of writing in 2025 it still existed, in storage in Spain - I wonder for how long before the inevitable?
