Warrington Arpley depot was relatively new at the time but nowadays mostly deals with wagon repairs. "Dutch" liveried Class 37/0 no 37263 is sat "on shed" with a couple of now-classic cars. The loco's career had effectively ended, it being stood down in April, transferred (on paper) to Bescot at the beginning of October, then officially stored in December. Happily, though, the loco was eventually bought for preservation and currently (2025) resides on the Severn Valley Railway.
