(2) Run-round completed EWS Class 60 no. 60098 "Charles Francis Brush" departs Latchford Sidings at 13.28 with a loaded coal train for Fiddlers Ferry Power Station. This was a routine that repeated itself more-or-less constantly every day. Writing this in 2020, nearly 23 years after I took these images, the era of coal trains to Fiddlers Ferry have just about ended, the power station set to close in March 2020.
