The sun is almost directly in front of the train as the afternoon progresses. At 16.17 GWR power car no. 43092 "Cromwell's Castle" leads the 2C79 14.00 Cardiff Central to Plymouth train, and no. 43154 "Compton Castle" is on the rear.
