A nice late summer's day in the peaceful surroundings of Whiteball Tunnel. I would have been happier with a Class 47 or 50 and a rake of Mark Is or IIs, and even an HST, but now we have to be satisfied with the Hitachi bi-modes! 9-car Class 802/1 no. 802111 emerges from the tunnel at 10.48 with the 1C05 08.05 London Paddington to Penzance.
