7th Nov 1991

(8) Drinnick Mill, and the junction for the Nanpean Wharf branch, is passed on the returning train from Treviscoe to Burngullow. I'm travelling in the rear cab of no. 37669. The branch was closed for good in 1992, so as this is November 1991 I wonder how many more trains travelled over these tracks? Not many, I'll wager, if any. It used to be a major centre of industry in the china clay business of Cornwall.
