7th Nov 1991 - Parkandillack branch, Cornwall
(9) I took several photos from the cab on our ride up and down the branch, but most were pretty poor. It was an awful day weatherwise. Here's one that was not too bad, showing the train near Lanjeth level crossing.

This turned out to be a memorable day, and our eternal thanks to the St. Blazey train crew, who all seemed to be exiles from Bescot depot if I recall correctly. Their tolerance and generosity was typical of the time, and seems an age away from today's somewhat heavy-handed safety-concious railway. I guess we were just very lucky.
