No. 25027’s story on how it arrived here was a little more complex than the others. Withdrawn way back in May 1983 the loco was stored at Saltley, Birmingham until March 1985 after which it was moved to Swindon Works. But that, of course, closed down so it was moved, with a number of other locos, to Vic Berry's yard in May 1987. By the beginning of October she had been broken up, despite that plea to save!
