(1) Class 25 no. 25037 had arrived at Vic Berry's just two days previously, on 29th May. A bit of a record breaker this one apparently - the Class 25 with the longest time in service, at 23 years and 309 days! It was withdrawn in January 1987 and almost looks ready to go back out on the road, but this was the end for this venerable Sulzer. By 14th June it was gone, reduced to scrap.
