For a while Class 47/7 no. 47716 could be found working trains over the Dartmoor Railway. Once named "Duke of Edinburgh's Award" the former Rail Express System's "Shove Duff" is stabled in front of the quarry equipment at Meldon. Not only has the quarry since closed and all that equipment has been taken away, no. 47716 also did not survive, being scrapped at C.F. Booth's scrapyard in Rotherham in 2010.
