I think this view just about sums up the West Highland Line in winter! Wet and wild! So, what can we see here? |I'm on board the 1T18 08.40 Fort William to Glasgow Queen Street (hauled by Class 37/4 no. 37402 "Oor Wullie"). After arriving at Tulloch I'm looking back from the rear coach where I can see Class 37/4 no. 37408 "Loch Rannoch" in the sidings with a short engineer's train and Class 37/4 no. 37401 "Mary Queen of Scots" in her Inter City Main Line livery working the 1Y01 05.50 Glasgow Queen Street to Fort William train. Quite a lot of activity for a small out-of-the-way location such as Tulloch! Plenty of bashers bailed out here, as can be seen from the number of people crossing the track and scurrying down the yard to jump on to the southbound train!
