At 10.15 "Pretty in Pink!" Class 31 no. 31601 "The Mayor of Casterbridge" is top and tailing with Fragonset Class 31 no. 31459 "Cerberus" on the 08.42 Bristol Temple Meads to Weymouth summer-only service, the first of two round trips between these two stations at the time. The train approaches Pen Mill, with the signal box to the left. I'll catch up with the train at Weymouth. The pink livery of Wessex Trains really was a bad idea!
