Doing what it was designed to do, Class 47/7 no. 47711 "Greyfriar's Bobby" stands at the head of the 16.30 Glasgow Queen Street to Edinburgh push-pull service. These locomotives were worked really hard on these services, pushed to 100mph on a gruelling schedule.
