One of the low-numbered Class 47/0s, no. 47006 stands at the buffer stops, alongside a Strathclyde Class 107 DMU and Railfreight-liveried 26034, on ECS stock for a West Highland train. Such is the variety as it was back in the 1980s! I was there in the winter of 1989 to enjoy the last of the loco-hauled trains on the West Highland Line - Super Sprinters were ready to take over and the Class 37/4s were having their swansong.
