Smallbrook Junction is little more than a narrow wooden-platformed halt. At 15.15 Class 483 no. (483)007 pulls in with the 15.07 Ryde Pier Head to Shanklin. I'll jump on board for a trip down to the end of the line, and back again to Pier Head and the end of a n=very enjoyable day out to the Isle of Wight!
