Whilst in Eastleigh I spied these two in the works. My notes don't say why but I guess they were there for servicing in between duties on the continent.
The Class 58 was already extinct on Britain's rails and most of the fleet was in service in Spain and France for infrastructure duties with Fertis and TSO.
The TSO orange no. 58007 - the ex-"Drakelow Power Station" - and Fertis grey no. 58011 - the ex "Worksop Depot" - keep each other company, awaiting developments. They would both be sent back to France and at the time of writing (2020) are stored at Rouen, northern France, with a bleak future ahead.
