Different generations of signalling technology! The "modern" MAS signal is hardly that modern really - probably dating from the 1970S or ‘80s. The "feather" is for the route over the "Little North Western" line to Settle. However, that ornate and stylish Furness Railway signal box is considerably older. Built in 1882 it was taken out of use way back in 1903 and has been unused ever since, and is now a listed building. The Tudor-style building was designed to match Sir William Tite's station and it is certainly distinctive.
The interior is more or less intact, but sadly derelict - I found these fascinating images on the web showing the interior - https://andrewstransport.smugmug.com/NorthWestlostlines/Carnforth-Furness-signalbox/i-Br54gMZ
