(1) At 18.44, later in the day compared to other observations of this train during my time here, EWS Class 66 no. 66101 passes the River Spean at Inverlair Bridge with the 6E16 17.50 Fort William to Tyne Yard empty Alcan alumina tanks. The train included four empty BP-green TTA oil tanks from the sidings at Fort William, an occasional traffic at the time. From here I dashed down to the end of the lane to catch the train again at Fersit.
