It's 15.30 and the southbound 1E24 14.49 Aberdeen to London Kings Cross service heads over the Montrose Viaduct with a National Express East Coast HST set, lead by 43208 leading and 43309 on the other end. This set operated the same service to the capital the previous day. You can see how the miles can be racked up by these trains!
