This is near Laurencekirk, between Montrose and Stonehaven, and at 11.45 we find Freightliner Class 66/6 no. 66610 heading north with the 6A65 06.14 Oxwellmains to Aberdeen cement train. Spring blossom is blooming and will be a feature of my visit throughout the area this week. And there's a chase on, as we catch up with this train at several locations on its journey north!
