During a layover at Totnes Littlehempston (or is it Riverside?) is D8568, and this view lets us see the cab area up close. The locos were noted for their roomy cabs, and there does certainly seem to be plenty of space inside! Also noted is the "T" shaped recess on the cab side, used to house equipment for collecting signalling tokens. The locos had two 450hp Paxman diesel engines, one each under each bonnet.
