The autumn diesel gala, and my first proper visit to the railway for a long time. One of the guest locos is Laira-based Class 08 no. 08644 "Laira Diesel Depot 50 Years 1962-2012", seen here at with an autocoach, having arrived at Buckfastleigh at 10.35 with the 2B06 Totnes to Buckfastleigh. Crompton D6501 is waiting at the platform with the next train out.
