20th June 2017

As 60085 heads away from the curve at Nairn Viaduct with the 6B31 17.59 Inverness Millburn to Oxwellmains empty Tarmac cement (load 10), the power is on as the train climbs towards Moy. The view, from Clava Cairns, looks up towards the high earthworks of the line at this point, which is partially treed-in, but with gaps, enabling this going-away shot. An onlooker is clearly not interested: maybe she has seen it all too often already, and is waiting for the Class 70s to debut! Now they'll make a noise on this route for sure!
