I seem to remember that the midges were a particular problem for me this evening, but they still didn't stop me breaking cover to catch 66105 arrive at Tulloch station, in the rain, at 18.28 with the 6E16 17.50 Fort William to Tyne Yard empty Alcan alumina tanks.

The train includes one BEA bogie flat loaded with five aluminium ingots, as well as 10 x Alcan PCA tank wagons. This was the first load of aluminium out of the Alcan works at Fort William in almost two weeks! Once I had my shot I would have hot-footed it back to the safety of the School House!
