50017 "Royal Oak" thunders through with the 13.15 London Waterloo to Exeter St. Davids, having made good progress on the flat terrain through the Axe Valley since leaving Axminster. Now the climb up to Honiton Tunnel begins! Note the fine concrete platform edging of the up platform.
