By Royal Appointment! EWS/RES Class 47/7 no. 47799 "Prince Henry" approaches from the London direction at 08.36 with a Pullman car train for Southampton. My guess is that it was run in connection with the departure of a cruise. No. 47799 (in 2025) languishes in preservation at the Eden Valley Railway in Cumbria, a far cry from the Royal Train duties it was prepared for!
