(1) Garden Shed! DB Cargo Class 66 no. 66103 drifts downhill past Ivy Batten's bungalow at Umborne at 12.19, working the 0Z28 11.34 Exeter Riverside N. Y. to Westbury Down T. C. light engine, a route learning trip in preparation for diversions off the ex-GWR route starting the following week. The Honiton Incline is an almost constant 1 in 80, steeping to 1 in 70 just further west of here.
