Located between the former Howe & Co sidings to the north, and the level crossing at Low House, and then on to Armathwaite, to the south, this spot is close to the village of Cotehill. The northern section of the S&C gets little coverage really, and as we are stopping over here for a few days en-route to Scotland I've had the chance to capture a few images here. At 17.48 Northern Class 158 no. 158787 scuttles past with the 2H92 15.18 Leeds to Carlisle service. The S&C, and fingerpost road signs: two of my favourite things! Really!!
