Skipton, & the Rylstone Branch, North Yorkshire

Skipton is a jewel of a town, set amongst the glorious scenery of the Yorkshire Dales and st the beginning of the route north. Either via the "Little North Western" route to Carnforth and the WCML, or over the top of England on the world-famous Settle to Carlisle Line. The Rylstone branch serves a large quarry on the truncated Grassington branch, and runs through some wonderful countryside.
