(2) Heading away from me at 12.25 from the road bridge at Bathpool (and enduring the all-so-typical "hoot hoot" jibe from some muppet in a passing car - moron!) the 1V48 08.11 Leeds to Plymouth service will soon arrive in Taunton. Power car no. 43007 (43207) trail power car no. 43008 (43208) book-end the train. The original BR InterCity 125 blue/grey looks nice and yet back in the day we didn't really care for these trains at all, ousting as they did our favourite locomotives from everyday service.
