Taunton station pilot 08840 is parked up in the sidings off the down side, close to the freight avoiding lines. In the early '80s there would have been two 08 pilots, one for the station, and the other for working the Taunton Concrete depot, east of the station. The inner relief road, recently opened, runs through here, more or less.
