29th July 2007 - Pontypool & Blaenavon Railway, Torfaen
Trains are propelled up to the northern terminus of Whistle Inn, so the locos are always at the south end. At 15.55 Class 37 no. 37216 at full power working hard up the hill pushing two ex-BR Mark Ones towards Whistle Inn. The location is roughly halfway between Furnace Sidings and Whistle Inn and it is a pleasant walk through the fields, keeping the railway alongside you all of the way.
