BR Derby Class 108 DMU set no. S942 rests at Furnace Sidings. I fear that the future is not bright for this unit. It had lain out of use at the railway for many years, battered and ruined by years of exposure to the weather at this open location and was sold to the Dean Forest Railway in 2020 where it will/is being stripped down for spares. What a shame. Sadly Shrewsbury will not be reached.
