(2) Scotrail Class 156 no. 156499 comes to a stop at Connel Ferry station at 17.33 with the 2Y39 17.05 Dalmally to Oban. Now hidden away in the vegetation to the right will be the island platform, this side for the down loop and the far side for the bay provided for Ballachulish trains, a branch that closed way back in 1966.
