The suns shines on Slug no. 6! Resting at Alresford during the "Trainspotter's Ball" diesel gala, Class 37/9 no. 37906 "Star of the South" is glowing in the low spring sun at 15.00, showing off its tidy front end. This was a very entertaining day at the Mid Hants, and this locomotive was definitely a big attraction. Happily it is still with us, in preservation, at the Shackerstone Railway (2021).
