Oo-er! Not very environmentally friendly as "Slug" Class 37/9 no. 37906 "Star of the South" does a very good impression of an American Alco diesel on the 13.40 Alton to Alresford train. At 14.30 the train has just left Medstead & Four Marks station and has crested the summit of the line for the trip down to Ropley, and making a lovely racket! It's fair to say that the engine crew were playing to the crowd!
