The oddly-named "Trainspotter's Ball" was the title given to this spring diesel gala! The highlights of the event were this machine, EWS-owned Class 37/9 no. 37906 "Star of the South", as well as Freightliner's 57011. At 13.15 the tarted-up "Slug" enters Ropley station with the 12.25 Alresford to Alton train. It will cross here with 57011.....
