The "Coalville Scrutator" was the name of this Hertfordshire Railtours trip from London St. Pancras. Remarkably the train was worked out from the former Midland Railway terminus by Southern Region Class 33s nos. 33027 and 33056. When they arrived they became exhibits at the open day, and Class 40 no. 40122, more famously known as D200, worked the tour for the first part of the return journey. Here is 1L02, the 14.25 Coalville to London St. Pancras departing, for a trip around the East Midlands and short visit to the Midland Railway Centre at Butterley. The 33s would later take the tour to London, from Leicester.
