Freightliner Class 66 no. 66524 hauls the 7C77 12.41 Acton T. C. to Merehead Quarry empties at 15.15 in lovely late Autumn sunshine. 7C77 has been running for years, possibly ever since the beginning of modern Mendip stone train operation. It is the return empty working of the up morning "Jumbo Train". 66524 carries an advert for driver recruitment on its flanks.
