(11) Standing inside the currently disused bore of Gasworks Tunnel, my Network Rail safety officer is silhouetted as Thameslink's Class 700 EMU no. 700039 approaches on the 1P63 12.47 Peterborough to London Kings Cross at 13.59. By 2020 trains will once again be passing through this tunnel.
