3rd Dec 1983 - London Kings Cross
A parcels train has arrived from the north, with a couple of Class 31s, nos. 31207 and 31173, standing at the buffer stops, under the arched station roof designed by Lewis and Sir William Cubitt, and built in 1851-2. Very little chance of seeing diesel traction at this station now, other than East Coast HSTs these days.
