(7) Virgin East Coast HST power car no. 43307 catches the sun as it approaches Gasworks Tunnel at 13.46 on the 1E09 09.30 Edinburgh to London Kings Cross service. The route out of Kings Cross is all in a long cutting, with several tunnels. To the best of my knowledge there is no legal way of photographing trains in this vicinity so I am very grateful for the opportunity to capture these scenes.
