Of course, this location, Prowse's Bridge, was not exactly perfect for shooting northbound trains in the afternoon. But knowing that the 6Z56 Tuesdays-Only 15.43 Berkeley to Crewe Coal Sidings nuclear waste train was running, I had to quickly think of a suitable place to see it. In the end, this going-away shot of the train heading towards the northbound loop at Haresfield was the result. It's running 33 minutes early at this point. DRS Class 68s nos. 68018 "Vigilant" and 68034 supply power to shift two 4-wheel flats carrying 20 foot containers which presumably contain low-risk nuclear waste. We hope!
