(2) Seen earlier in Bridgwater yard, DRS Class 37s nos. 37607 and 37259 are now observed carefully approaching the Highbridge loop at 12.30. They'll head on through, passing by the loops on their way towards Bristol. This is the 6M67 MFO(Q) 12.03 Bridgwater to Crewe nuclear flask train. The terrain is flat around here, on the edge of the Somerset Levels. The line crosses over a number of 'drains', wide man made channels designed to drain the land and keep it dry for grazing animals. I've always wanted to try and photograph trains crossing some of these bridges but access seems to be tricky.
