At 16.12 EWS Class 66 no. 66008 is heading the 6C62 Tuesdays-only 15.31 Bristol St, Phillips Marsh to Plymouth Laira gas oil tanks - fuel for the depot being carried in TTA tank wagons that originated from Fawley, Southampton that morning. This train ended running a short while ago, and fuel is now delivered by road, this illustrating as well as ever just how crazy our railway system can be sometimes.The train is passing through the cutting at Dowend, just outside Bridgwater, and the may blossom is in full bloom!

66008 is now owned by GBRf, one of 10 Class 66s sold by DB Cargo.
