16th Sept 2005

(1) It's 10.40 and a lovely warm late summer's day, with fluffy white clouds drifting through an azure blue sky. The richness of the Velvia 100 film helps! After an earlier arrival at Bridgwater DRS Class 37s nos. 37259 and 37607 manoeuvre back into the yard after being stabled in the head shunt. They'll later shunt the nuclear flask wagon and load, couple up, back out of the yard onto the mainline, and depart as 6M67 MFO(Q) 12.03 Bridgwater to Crewe. This is a weekly routine that has been happening for a long time, and looks set to be the case for many years to come.
