(5) 60059 "Samuel Plimsoll" was still very new, and its condition reflected that, with the clean bodywork proudly showing the BR Railfreight Trainload Coal decals....not quite what was intended, as the point of these identifying marks was to indicate to which traffic the locomotives would be dedictated. The loco is seen carefully entering the loading area, and as you can see, I was right there in the thick of it, and the railway staff were quite happy for me to be there to! In fact, they were an extremely friendly bunch, as I would discover soon enough.
