Freightliner’s 57002 “Freightliner Phoenix” has just arrived at platform 3, at 13.52, on Pathfinder Railtour’s “The Solent Syphons” tour, 1Z37 05.04 Derby to Weymouth.

Haulage by a 57 would have been rare enough, and apparently another 57, no. 57005, was inadvertently put on the train at Salisbury, it being replaced by this engine when it got to Southampton. How a mistake such as that could happen is unexplained!
